Precision Craft Boatworks has been in operation since 1994.

We have a 100,000 sq ft facility located in beautiful Oroville, California, just north of Sacramento. Precision Craft Boatworks offers a full range of remodeling options and is also the only builder of fully custom built houseboats on the west coast. We specialize in all aluminum super-structure custom boats that are designed and built to be virtually maintenance free. All of our projects are uniquely designed with SolidWorks 3D design systems. Each custom boat is one of a kind; whether it is a three story lake yacht or a two bedroom classic houseboat.

Each Houseboat is designed to provide both durability and function without sacrificing the unique necessities and wishes that each customer desires. With SolidWorks 3D we are able to streamline the customer approval process. SolidWorks 3D allows us to have continuous communication with our customers via email or fax. Floor plans, structure designs, cabinet layouts, and custom accessories are designed and approved with the customer as the build process takes place.

All Precision Craft Boatworks Houseboats include a warranty that will cover any structural or mechanical defects. Our warranties are supported by the materials we use in construction & quality manufacturing practices. Precision Craft Boatworks Houseboats are 5052-T6 aluminum alloy super structures; this means all flotation, structure framing, railing, and tanks (except fuel) are built out of aluminum. This construction method prevents the most common and expensive houseboat maintenance issues including but not limited to: rust, wood rot, mold, structure deterioration, and cracking fiberglass.

We apply all of the same principles of building new boats to remodeling, repairing, or maintaining our customers existing houseboats. Precision Craft Boatworks is the most experienced houseboat facility in California.
